Delete your data
Last updated: July 13, 2026
NaamAmrit is built to keep as little of your information as possible. Here’s exactly what we hold and how to remove it.
Your practice data (on your device)
Your naam counts, streaks, goals, history, and settings are stored on your device. Your voice is never recorded or uploaded — speech and sound counting happen entirely on-device. To erase all of it, open NaamAmrit and go to Settings → Delete everything, which permanently wipes your practice data from the device. Deleting the app also removes this data.
Cloud backup & accounts
If you sign in with Apple or Google to back up your practice, your counts are saved to your account so you can restore them on a new device. To delete your account and everything backed up with it, email privacy@naamamrit.com with the subject line “Delete my account.” We’ll permanently delete your account data within 30 days and confirm when it’s done.
Waitlist email
If you joined our waitlist, the only thing we hold is the email address you gave us. Use the one-click unsubscribe link in any email we send, or email privacy@naamamrit.com and we’ll remove it.
For the full picture of what we collect and why, see our Privacy Policy.
